Program Name & Description

Bevel Project Alerts — a text messaging program operated by Bevel (bevel.build). Bevel is a construction project management platform. When you opt in, Bevel sends SMS/MMS messages related to your construction projects, including daily log reminders, safety alerts, schedule updates, bid invitations, approval requests, RFI updates, and team communications for construction professionals.

How to Opt In (Mobile & Web)

To opt in to Bevel Project Alerts, you must take all of the following steps:

1. Create an account at https://bevel.build
2. Navigate to Settings → Notifications → SMS Notifications
3. Turn on the SMS Notifications toggle
4. Enter your mobile phone number and tap "Send code"
5. Enter the one-time verification code we text you to confirm your number

Your consent is collected digitally within the Bevel platform, and your phone number must be verified by a one-time code before any notifications are sent — no messages are ever sent to an unverified number. Providing a phone number is optional and is never required to create an account or use Bevel. Below is the exact opt-in flow and consent disclosure users see on mobile and desktop:

Message Types & Frequency

Bevel sends transactional and informational messages only — never marketing or promotional texts. Message types include:

• Project deadline and milestone reminders
• Approval and signature requests
• Daily log and inspection summaries
• RFI and submittal status updates
• Safety incident alerts
• Bid package notifications and invitations
• Certification expiration warnings
• Schedule change notifications
• Replies to messages you initiate — verified members can text project questions, and field crew can text IN or OUT to clock time

Message frequency varies depending on your project activity and the notification types you enable. Most users receive between 2–15 messages per week. You control which notification types trigger SMS in your settings, and you can set quiet hours during which non-urgent messages are suppressed.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Plan Availability & Cost

SMS features are included with eligible paid Bevel subscription plans. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of message segments (a standard text message is one segment; longer messages use multiple segments). Current allowances by plan are listed on our pricing page. If your organization uses its full monthly allowance, outbound SMS is paused until the next monthly cycle unless you upgrade your plan. Any charges beyond your subscription will be disclosed to you before you incur them. Carrier message and data rates are separate charges from your mobile carrier, not from Bevel.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can opt out of Bevel SMS messages at any time by textingSTOPto your Bevel messaging number. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, and any other reasonable request to stop receiving messages. Upon receiving your STOP request:

• You will receive a one-time confirmation message
• No further SMS messages will be sent to your number
• Your opt-out is processed immediately and applies to all Bevel SMS traffic to that number

You may also opt out within the Bevel app by going to Settings → Notifications → SMS Notifications and toggling SMS off. To re-subscribe after opting out, textSTARTto the same number, or re-enable SMS in your account settings.

Carrier Disclaimer

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Bevel is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging availability depends on your mobile carrier and service area.

Consent & Conditions

• Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services, or using the Bevel platform.
• You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or by disabling SMS in your account settings.
• By opting in, you confirm that the phone number provided is your own and that you are authorized to receive text messages at that number.
• Bevel reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page.
